Dennis Greene admitted defeat to North Ferriby was hard to take - after being downed by an 89th-minute winner.
Dayle Southwell had given the Pilgrims the lead, only for Danny Hone to pull the Villagers level midway through the first half.
Then, at the death, Danny Emerton tapped in from close range to take three points back to Yorkshire.
“In the first half we were vibrant going forward and looked really solid at the back,” Greene reflected.
“Then the goal they got knocked the stuffing out of us.
“The second half was a picture of what we’ve had lately, but the first half looked really good.
“Then they get a corner and bad marking and lack of concentration sees their lad tap it in from half a yard out.
“The manner ofd the defeat was hard as we looked like we were getting a draw.”
