Jamie McGhee believes he can still play a big part in Boston United’s season.
The attacker made his first appearance in nine contests with a second-half cameo from the bench at Solihull Moors on Saturday.
And after returning from his second long-term injury of the season he is determined to make up for lost time.
“I want to be involved in the games and we’re looking forward to the play-offs,” he said.
“It’s been frustrating and an unlucky season for me so it was nice to get back on and get a run-out.
“I’ve had two good injuries. I’m just pleased to be a part of it again.”
Having been forced to watch his teammates from the sidelines, McGhee has liked what he has seen.
And he is backing the Pilgrims for promotion to the Vanarama Premier.
“I think we can go all the way, I definitely do,” he said.
“The spirit we’ve got is so strong and we get stronger with every game.
“We don’t look like getting beat.”
