JULIAN Joachim may be turning 37 later this year - but the Boston United striker is still hungry for success.
That is the opinion on United boss Jason Lee.
The two were opposing strikers in the Premier League 15 years ago. And now they find themselves teammates at York Street.
Lee may be looking to take a backseat from playing this season, but he says Boston-born Joachim still has it.
He said: “He asked if can train with us, and I knew by the shape he was in he was serious about playing for us.
“The quality is there.
“He could have played at a lower level and earned more money, but he wants to be with us and play at a decent level.”
