Boston United have rewarded Cameron Johnson with his first competitive start for Boston United following last week’s heroics.
The 18-year-old will be handed a free role as part of a 4-3-3 formation, as Dennis Greene’s side look to make it four straight wins this afternoon at AFC Telford United.
“He took a great opportunity,” said Greene, reflecting on the previous Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Alfreton Town in which Johnson teed up Ryan Robbins for the winner with a clever long-range pass.
“If players do that it’d be wrong of me not to give him the opportunity.”
Johnson replaces Kyle Dixon, while the second change from the side which beat the Reds sees Carl Piergianni return from suspension and take the place of the injured Richard Jones.
It was Piergianni who scored the only goal of the game as United beat Telford two weeks ago.
Zak Mills, Kaine Felix and Jay Rollins join Jones on the treatment table.
Kick off will be at 3pm.
