Goalkeeper Paul Farman has joined Boston United on loan.
The 24-year-old Lincoln City stopper is expected to be eligible for selection tomorrow as the Pilgrims travel to face Stockport County in the Vanarama North
“We needed to bring in an experienced goalkeeper and Paul fits the bill perfectly,” manager Dennis Greene told bufc.co.uk.
“I would like to thank Lincoln City for their help in making this move happen.”
The Pilgrims currently have Matt Gledhill, Sam Vince and Andy Hewitt registered as goalkeepers.
However, Hewitt has yet to mak a first-team appearance this campaign, while neither Vince nor Gledhill has firmly made the number one spot their own.
Farman has made 79 league appearances for the Red Imps and also has 64 league appearances to his credit for Gateshead.
He has joined United on an initial three-month loan spell.
