Lewis King says he is relishing his battle for the number one jersey.
The keeper has impressed when given the nod for Boston United this season, but Sam Vince, Joel Dixon and Andy Hewitt also have designs on that spot.
“I can never say I’m 100 per cent confident I’ll be starting each week,” said King, who has been the preferred choice in recent weeks.
“But when we get wins and draws it helps my cause.
“When I get a link with the back four we can all help each other out and it helps the club.
“I’ll always keep battling and it’s been a good battle with Vincey.
“You take take each game as it comes and you could always get injured, or sent off.
“We’ll just carry on doing our best for the rest of the season.”
To date, King has made 16 appearances since his move from Eastwood Town, keeping four clean sheets this season.
Vince has started eight games and made four appearances from the bench to date.
