BOSTON United Reserves earned a 3-1 victory at Lincolnshire League strugglers CGB Humbertherm.

Tom Sergeant put the Pilgrims in front, smashing home after a move involving Steve Lovett, Jordan Nuttell and Tony Edwards.

However, the hosts levelled when William Clifford found the net from 18 yards, giving Andrew Hewitt no chance.

Before the interval United were back in front.

Nuttell, who had gone close on a handful of occasions, got his name on the scoresheet, passing the ball home from the edge of the penalty area.

After the break, Edwards – returning to reserve team duty after his stint with the first team – added the third, forcing the ball home after a slip by the home stopper.
