Pilgrims set for Gingerbreads test

Boston United’s final pre-season warm-up match sees them travel to take on Grantham Town this evening.

The Pilgrims will be without the injured duo of Jay Dowie and Marc Newsham, although manager Dennis Greene is expected to name a strong starting XI.

Kaine Felix is could return to the squad after missing Saturday’s 3-2 victory at Carlton Town.

However, the summer signing will miss the opening two matches of the Vanarama season due to a suspension picked up at the end of the previous campaign.

Zak Mills is likely to serve his one-match ban - picked up during the Lincs Senior Cup defeat to Gainsborough Trinity - during the second match of the season, away at Brackley Town.

Kick off against the Evo-Stik Premier Division opposition at the South Kesteven Sports Centre will be at 7.45pm.
