New signing Richard Jones has been thrust straight into the starting XI as Boston United prepare to host Alfreton Town in National League North action this afternoon.
The defender - whose arrival from Stamford was announced last night - was given the nod by manager Dennis Greene.
Jones will join Scott Garner in the heart of defence as Carl Piergianni (suspension) and Zak Mills (injury) both miss out, with Dylan McEvoy and Liam Marrs flanking them.
Garner’s switch to defence means Kyle Dixon returns to midfield, alongside Grant Roberts and Jordan Richards.
Mark Jones - Richard’s brother - Dayle Southwell and Ryan Robbins will lead the line while keeper Henrich Ravas keeps his place following last week’s penalty heroics.
On the bench, Lartey Sarpong returns from injury.
Ex-Pilgrim Stefan Galinski starts for Town.
It was Piergianni who scored the winning goal in the 1-0 victory against AFC Telford United last weekend, which saw United move up to eighth in the standings.
United have won their past two meetings against Alfreton - which came in the 2010-11 campaign.
A 3-2 victory at York Street followed a 1-0 success in Derbyshire.
Kick off will be at 3pm.
