Jordan Richards leaves the Jakemans Stadium a ‘stronger’ player - but the midfielder hasn’t ruled out a return.
As Boston United are without a fixture this weekend, the youngster’s loan spell has come to a premature end.
But the Notts County player admits he would love a chance to return to the Pilgrims.
“I am (going to miss the club), because I’ve enjoyed getting a lot of minutes, playing in my favoured position and gelling with the lads,” Richards said.
“The league’s a lot different to under 21 football, it’s made me a lot stronger.
“I’d be delighted to come back.”
After serving a three-month loan, Richards would not be able to return to Boston until January 1 at the earliest.
“I’ve just got to wait to hear from Notts, but I’d be happy to come back,” he added.
