BOSTON United bosses Rob Scott and Paul Hurst are gone, but not forgotten.

The duo have switched York Street for Blundell Park as they joined Grimsby Town last week.

However, they have left a lasting legacy at Boston, including three trophies - the UniBond Play-off Trophy, UniBond Knockout Cup and Lincs Senior Shield - in their first season with the club.

15/08/09 - FC United 1 Pilgrims 2

THE duo’s first league match in control of Boston and an unforgettable day as Danny Davidson’s double earned Boston a 2-0 lead before the defence showed a master class in resolve as Boston held on for the win.

24/10/09 - Nantwich 0 Pilgrims 4

AFTER two 5-0 thrashings to Nantwich the previous season, Boston earned some revenge, and also went top of the UniBond Premier for the first time. Davidson (two), Marc Newsham and Dan Cotton were on target.

03/01/10 - Pilgrims 10 Durham 0

HURST and Scott’s record home win saw them reach double figures against the spirited youngsters from Durham. Goals came from Davidson (three), Newsham (two), Nathan Koranteng (two), Mikel Suarez, Danny Sleath and Jamie Yates.

06/02/10 - Pilgrims 2 Buxton 1

IT was pure drama as Liam Parker smashed home a stoppage-time winner against a hard-working Buxton side. The United bench celebrated and, as emotions ran high, became involved with a mass brawl with their visiting counterparts. Shaun Pearson also netted.

09/03/10 - Retford 1 Pilgrims 2

THIS was Boston at their spirited best as they earned a superb win over bitter promotion rivals Retford. Pearson and Sleath netted as Boston gave as good as they got against the thuggish Badgers.

01/05/10 - BPA 1 Pilgrims 2

AFTER twice losing to Bradford Park Avenue in the league, Boston got their revenge in a tense, thrilling UniBond Premier play-off final. Coming from behind, Newsham forced extra time and Anthony Church grabbed the winner to complete a debut-season treble.

SCOTT and Hurst’s record away win saw Davidson (two), Pearson (two), Church (two), Miles Hunter, Ryan Semple and Spencer Weir-Daley net.

AN FA Trophy match to remember as giant-killing Boston defended bravely against Blue Square Premier York, Weir-Daley on target.

19/02/11 - Workington 3 Pilgrims 5

A TOPSY-turvy match that saw United throw away a 2-0 lead only to come from behind and eventually earn the points. Adam Boyes (two), Newsham (two) and Semple were on target.

15/03/11 - Pilgrims 3 Alfreton 2

ARGUABLY Scott and Hurst’s greatest triumph. After trailing 2-0 at half time, Boston embarked on the mother of all comebacks to inflict only Alfreton’s third defeat of the campaign, and do the double. Newsham, Sleath and Pearson netted.
