After picking two frustrating injuries in his debut season, Jay Rollins is now taking precautions to make sure he is more readily available for Boston United in the future.
Despite making 34 appearances last campaign, knee and hamstring injuries saw him sidelined for 13 contests of the campaign.
In a bid to minimalise injuries in the future, Rollins has been working to improve training and dietary techniques.
He said: “I’ve always tried to live like a footballer, but I’m doing more things now to try to prevent in juries.
“With everything - warm downs, the work I do in the gym and diet - I’m trying to make sure I give myself the best opportunities to stay as fit as I can.
“The injuries were frustrating last season.
“I didn’t like spending that much time out, I just wanted to be playing.”
