Jordan Richards believes teammate Lartey Sarpong can still have an impact at Boston United.
The two teenagers are both on loan at the Jakemans Stadium from Notts County until December 10.
But while Richards has excelled for the Pilgrims, Sarpong has seen his progress hampered by a knee injury.
He featured in the first three United matches since making the switch to the National League North from the Magpies on a three-month deal.
But after returning from injury he has made one appearence from the bench in the past four contests.
“Lartay just needs to play in the right position and when he comes on he’ll definitely take his chance,” said Richards, firmly backing his teammate and fellow midfielder.
“When he gets his chance I think he’ll definitely take it.”
