Dayle Southwell has been named in the Boston United squad for the first time since December 19.
The 15-goal striker has been ruled out with a foot injury since being replaced at half time in the 4-0 victory over Stockport County at the Jakemans Stadium late last year.
But as the Pilgrims look to put back-to-back defeats in the National League North behind them tonight as they face Bradford Parke Avenue at the Horsfall Stadium, the away side will be buoyed by the return of the division’s leading marksman.
Southwell was named in the starting line up, one of four changes to the side which was beaten 3-0 by Stalybridge last Saturday.
Southwell’s strike partner John Sands, left back Dylan McEvoy and winger Jay Rollins also made the first XI with Joe Burgess, Kaine Felix and Mark Jones dropping to the bench and Josh Venney not named in the squad.
Park Avenue are unbeaten at home in nine matches in all competitions, stretching back to October 14.
