Boston United made it two wins from two after a workmanlike victory at Spalding United.
In a carbon copy of Tuesday’s 2-1 victory at Lincoln United, the Pilgrims went a goal down against lower league opposition before scoring twice.
Ricky Miller was again on target, while Charley Sanders also netted for the away side.
Prior to kick off, full back Netan Sansara signed a contract with the Pilgrims, impressing enough in training to get the nod from manager Dennis Greene.
United’s first chance of the match fell to Carl Piergianni, who fired over the bar following a goalmouth scramble.
But it was Spalding who took a 35th-minute lead.
Boston stopper Sam Vince had made a good save to deny Dan Cotton from a corner, but Lee Beeson was on hand to head home the loose ball from close range.
That lead, however, lasted just four minutes before Miller grabbed his third goal in two matches since his return.
Ian Ross played a quick one-two with Spencer Weir-Daley before dinking in a cross which Miller looped over the helpess Michael Duggan.
Then seven minutes aftewr the break the Pilgrims were in front.
Teenager Sanders nodded home at the back post, following a clever cross from Gary Mills.
Greene then made six changes, with trialist and former Burton Albion winger Billy Bennett among those introduced.
Sansara then made Duggan flap at a volley, but the Tulips stopper did enough to divert the danger.
