LEWIS Sturman has been named as Boston United’s Youth Team Player of the Season.
The 18-year-old defender has had a season to remember.
He made his first-team debut for the Pilgrims in the Lincolnshire Senior Shield final against Grantham Town in March.
Boston may have lost that match 2-0, but he also made 41 appearances for the reserves and youth team in 2011-2012, scoring three goals in the process.
He also played his part in helping the under 18s reach the third round of the FA Youth Cup, claiming the scalp of Bradford City before being beaten by Championship side Burnley.
Sturman has also been on trial with Premier League side Norwich City after catching their eye.
The award, sponsored by Paragon Print and Packaging, was presented to Sturman last Wednesday.
