Boston United want to sign midfielder Kyle Dixon on an permanent deal.
The Notts County player has had successful loan spells at the Jakemans Stadium both this season and last.
He recently joined Conference Premier side AFC Telford United on loan, but is struggling to get a regular run in the side.
The Pilgrims are hopeful that the Magpies will recall their player from his loan and, if Dixon’s contract is ended by mutual consent, he would be free to return to Boston as a full-time Pilgrim.
“The chances are he will be back at Boston,” said United manager Dennis Greene.
“There are a few clauses (in his contract to be looked at).”
Boston are hopeful that Dixon could be a United player again as early as this week.
He has played a total of 22 times for the club - although that first goal still eludes him.
