Jamie McGhee marked his return to Boston United’s squad with an equaliser as the Pilgrims drew 2-2 at Worksop Town last night.

The attacker, who missed Saturday’s contest against Grimsby Town due to illness, latched onto a 50th minute through ball to slam home the final goal of the game.

Striker Jack Friend had given the Pilgrims an 11th-minute lead, the on-loan Peterborough United striker nipping in to steal the ball and roll it under Jon Kennedy.

Mitch Husbands drew the Tigers level before the break and an unnamed trialist put Town in front in the 48th minute.

The Pilgrims also lost Jake Sheridan through injury.
