Boston Town will face Gornal in the last 64 of the FA Vase... after Saturday’s stunning 3-2 victory at Bridgnorth

A brace from Josh Ford and a winner from Ollie Maltby saw the Poachers progress after coming from behind in Shropshire.

“It was a sloping pitch and areally tough place to play football - but I’m proud of the lads,” said boss Ian Dunn.

“They gave it everything and deserved to win it.

“It’s a fantastic result for the club.”

After trailing 1-0 at the interval, Ford levelled from the spot after Matt Barber was fouled.

Despite the Meadow Men keeper being the last man, he escaped with a booking.

Another spot kick from Ford put Town ahead after a foul on Ollie Pinner.

But the hosts levelled with a penalty of their own.

But with five minutes to go, Maltby put the Poachers through, finishing from close range.

Tomorrow, town travel to face Deeping Rangers in the UCL Premier.
