Craig Elliott has demanded Boston United bounce back from their Gateshead defeat...warning his players reputations count for nothing.

Speaking after last night's 3-0 reverse, the Pilgrims boss said he will make changes to his starting line-up when Boston host Farsley Celtic on Saturday.

But he also revealed that players from outside the club are desperate to join the side third in the National League North.

"People want to come and sign. I've got good players who want to come here as we're doing well, and you think the times not right," Elliott said.

"But when people put in performances like that, the club's got to come first before the players.

"I don't care what people think, that's how I work.

"Don't live on what you did two weeks ago, two months ago, two years ago.

"I live in what you've done tonight, and on that performance, some can't come asking questions on Saturday.

Looking forward to Saturday's match (KO 3pm), Elliott added: "The one thing we've done all season is come back and respond positively when we've had a loss.

"We need to get this out our system and the only way you do that is by winning a game.

"I've got to (make changes). I've got a good bench and there's players not getting shirts."
