The Pilgrims travel to Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday (KO 3pm).

And Elliott is adamant his side must not be distracted by their impending FA Cup replay against Rochdale, which will take place on December 16.

“The FA Cup’s been great, but getting promoted and staying in the play-offs is our main goal this season,” he said.

“We want to do well in the cups, but the league is what’s most important to us.”

Elliott first took charge of United at Harrogate Town on November 18, 2017, a 3-1 defeat.

In total, he has recorded 46 victories and 19 draws from his 99 matches.
