Boston Town are preparing for a crunch league double at the DWB Stadium.
The Poachers - currently second bottom in the United Counties League Premier Division - host Leicester Nirvana on Saturday (KO 3pm) before next Wednesday’s arrival of Wisbech Town (KO 7.45pm).
Nirvana are on a poor run of form having lost their last five league matches.
They currently sit 19th, two places and two points ahead of Boston, who could leapfrog them in the standings if they can claim victory.
The contest may be the final one for interim managers Darren Bevan and Lori Borbely before a new boss takes over the reins.
Wisbech, meanwhile, are in 11th place.
Town will be looking for revenge over the Fenmen after Wisbech left Boston with a 4-1 FA Cup victory on the opening day of the season.
Town suffered a 6-1 defeat at Yaxley in the league on Saturday. Things started brightly as Alex Beck (pictured) gave the Poachers the lead.
However, Dan Cotton, Joe Butterworth, Robert Hughes, Jack Saunders, Phil Stebbing and Charley Sanders responded for the Cuckoos while the away side finished with nine men after Richard Ford and Craig Parker received their marching orders.
