Boston Town will face derby rivals Spalding United with a depleted squad tonight.

Striker Liam Nimmo and utility man Mark Thompson have both parted company with the Poachers.

Add to that the fact midfielders Ollie Pinner and Lori Borbely are both on the injury list and that means Town are almost down to the bare bones.

“We’ve spoken to a few lads about joining us, but we’ve got a small squad right now,” said player-boss Ian Dunn.

“But that gives young lads like George Stainfield and Fraser Bayliss a chance to show what they can do.”

The two Yellowbelly sides will meet at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field tonight in Lincolnshire Senior Trophy action (KO 7.45pm).

The Tulips have already recorded a 3-0 success at Tattershall Road in UCL Premier League action this season.
