It was derby time again on Saturday when Coningsby hosted Spilsby Town for a Boston League Premier Division fixture.

Both teams were on the defensive for the entire match which made unexciting viewing for the spectators and gave the goalies very little to do to keep warm.

The game went into extra time and with only two minutes remaining, Spilsby’s Elliot Ludlow put a beautiful long shot into the top of the Coningsby goal, just brushed by the keeper’s fingers.
