Hide AdCalifornia-born Adebayo-Smith made 10 appearances for the Pilgrims during a four-month loan spell from Lincoln City last season.
The 20-year-old made his debut in the 3-0 National League North defeat at Gloucester City last August, but was handed his first start two days later and provided an assist for Dominic Knowles as Boston thrashed Altrincham 5-0.
Despite appearing in eight of the first nine games after joining United on loan, Adebayo-Smith then found appearances hard to come by.
His final two appearances were both starts, scoring his only goal for Boston in the 4-2 Lincs Senior Cup victory over his former club Grantham Town and making the starting XI for a 1-0 FA Trophy defeat at Atherton Collieries on November 23.

“I am delighted to play for the Tampa Bay Rowdies, an amazing club that will give me the opportunity to develop my abilities on and off the field.
"The Rowdies have an incredible fan base, quality coaches and players, and I hope to help bring another championship to the team in 2021.”
Aderbayo-Smith is by no means the first ex-Pilgrim to play in the United States.
