Forty-six swimmers from across the squads at Boston Amateur Swimming Club competed at the Rob Welbourn Open Meet at Deepings Leisure Centre, the first Open Meet of the 2014-15 season.

The competition sees 50m and 200m races in all strokes, with a 200m individual medley at the end of the long two-day contest.

Coach Ian Wells was delighted with the efforts, which resulted in 148 personal bests, 43 golds, 32 silvers and 27 bronzes.

Three Boston boys finished in the top three boys’ placings, with Connor Spinks third, Anton Kiss second and Joseph Vickers named top boy.

Boston was also named as the Top Visiting Club.
