Meanwhile, the Lincolnshire League is currently looking to achieve step seven status in the footballing pyramid, a move which has the backing of the Lincolnshire Football Association.
Developing clubs across Lincolnshire are being invited to be part of the new set-up.
The league wants clubs to come on board as it applies to the FA for its backing.
When this is achieved there would be the option for automatic promotion and relegation to and from the Lincolnshire League and a number of other incentives for the county’s clubs, including the potential to enter the FA Vase.
