The Boston Golf Club's Ladies' Section played their Monthly Qualifying Stableford last Wednesday - with the top three all seeing their handicaps reduced.

Twenty ladies took to the first tee, each with high hopes of decent scores in the good conditions, which saw just a slight breeze.

Jean Markham was the winner, playing off 16 and coming in with a score of 39 stableford points, cutting her handicap to 14.8 along the way.

Pam also cut her handicap from 17 to 16.3.

In fourth was Lady Captain Anne Wallhead with 37 points.
