Grammar youngsters into the final 64 of national tournament

Boston Grammar School’s under 12s have reached the last 64 of a national football tournament.

With more than 800 centres entering this year’s English Schools FA National up, the BGS squad have excelled to reach this stage.

To date they have defeated King Edward VI School, Carres GS, Kings GS and, most recently, Arthur Mellows in round five.

Against the Arthur Mellows School they came from behind to win 3-2 in the last five minutes.

They will now face St Ivo School, Huntington, as well as taking a 100 per cent record into the second half of the Boston League season, and hope to represent the superzone by winning this league.
