Boston United look like they will not play a single game of football in November - following yet another postponement.

A positive Covid-19 test in the Blyth Spartans squad means November 28's scheduled contest will be the latest to be re-arranged.

United, currently in a fortnight's self isolation due to a positive test in their camp, were expecting to face the Spartans in their first game back.

A statement on Blyth's website read: "Blyth Spartans AFC can confirm it has received a positive Covid-19 test.

"As a result, the club will enter a period of self-isolation and has postponed its National League North matches against Spennymoor Town, Kettering Town and Boston United."

Boston have seen seven matches postponed this month while their contest at Darlington, which they led 2-0 in the 87th minute - was abandoned due to injury.

Two games at Bradford Park Avenue were postponed due to floodlight problems, the league game against Chorley was put on hold due to the Magpies' involvement in the FA Cup and four further matches will be lost to Covid.

The Pilgrims were already facing fitting 38 games into the remaining 25 weeks of the season prior to today's postponement, discarding FA Trophy action.
