Dave Jacklin has stepped down as head coach of Boston Judo Club, after 41 years.
Jacklin has seen the club, which he formed, grow from strength to strength.
He will carry on coaching at the club, sharing his skills and knowledge to help to push the club’s members to where they want to be.
Jacklin steps down with the best wishes off the club’s members.
Club press officer Carl Miller said: “Dave Jacklin is embedded in the club’s Members Hall of Fame and there his name will always remain as a tribute to the man that has helped steer so many people, and the club itself, to where they are today,”
