Boston Town face a seven-day wait for their next fixture, a United Counties League Knockout Cup semi-final at Huntingdon Town.

The Poachers are without a league fixture this weekend, meaning they have to wait until next Wednesday for more action.

Boss Nathan Collins said: “It’s not ideal to wait so long for the next game.

“But we’ll train properly and turn up at Huntingdon looking to win.

“We’ll treat the game like any other. If I was getting the lads up for a semi-final more than any other game then I wouldn’t be doing my job properly.”

Town were beaten 2-1 at Huntingdon in February, but Collins is looking to reverse his side’s fortunes.

He added: “We’ve improved since that match.”
