Boston Town travel to Kirby Muxloe knowing that victory could give their survival hopes a massive boost.

Following Tuesday’s 1-1 draw ay Wisbech Town - in which Jason Field’s injury-time leveller earned a share of the spoils on his return to the club - the Poachers leapfrogged today’s opponents, moving out of the United Counties League Premier Division’s drop zone.

But although Boston now sit a point above their hosts, their Kirby still have three games in hand.

So today’s clash at Ratby Lane gives Gary Frost’s side a chance to put a little extra breathing space between them and the bottom two.

Kirby have lost their last three matches, while the Poachers have not won in their past 10 fixtures, although they had claimed four draws.

Kick off will be at 3pm.
