Gary Frost has told his Boston Town side they will have ‘no excuses’ after showing exactly what they’re capable of at Eynesbury Rovers.
Aaron Eyett’s double stunned Rovers as the struggling Poachers beat their highflying hosts 2-1 in the United Counties League Premier Division on Saturday.
And while Frost was delighted to see his side move seven points clear of the drop, he now says the bar has been raised by his squad.
“This is the the thing,” he said. “The lads have shown exactly what they can do and how good they are this week.
“I want them to do it week-in, week-out now for the rest of the season.
“We had nothing to lose and they went for it.
“Maybe it has something to do with the pressure being off a bit, but there are are no excuses now.”
Town travel to face Harborough Town on Saturday.
Kick off at Bowden’s Park will be at 3pm.
