Boston Town boss Ian Dunn believes that the return of Paul Goodhand will only strengthen the Poachers.
The fans’ favourite marked his second debut as a second-half substitute for Town last Tuesday, during their 3-0 defeat to Spalding United.
“He brings a lot of quality to the team,” Dunn told The Standard.
“He might not be able to play every match for us, but hopefully we can use him as often as possible.
“Paul loves the club and was happy to come back.”
Former Grimsby Town trianee Goodhand spent eight years at Tattershall Road before leaving for Holbeach, and later Louth Town, in 2011.
And Dunn, a veteran of the UCL Premier, knows how dangerous his new signing can be.
He added: “The amount of times I’ve played against him and he’s just taken a free kick on the edge of the penalty area and picked out a corner.
“He’s got a great delivery.”
