Petronzio suffers broken leg during Boston Town’s draw with Lincoln United

Boston Town earned a 1-1 draw with Lincoln United on Saturday - in a match marred by an inury to Poachers midfielder James Petronzio.

Petronzio - who only signed for the club last week - suffered a broken leg in the pre-season contest.

The 22-year-old, who previously played for Grimsby Borough, was taken to Pilgrim Hospital for treatment, according to club website

Matt Kennedy converted a first half penalty to put Town in front, but Callum Ward replied for the Northern Premier League side after the break.
