Poachers downed by table toppers

Boston Town were downed 5-1 at UCL Premier league leaders Peterborough Sports.

Poachers debutant Michael Harness, who has been playing in the Lincolnshire League with Horncastle Town so far this season, got on the scoresheet with his side already two-down on Tuesday night.

But three further goals came after the half-time break to down Gary Frost’s side.

Mark Jones and Josh Moreman both netted braces and Dan Clements also got on the scoresheet.

Town sit in 17th in the table and travel to Rothwell Corinthians on Saturday (KO 3pm).
