Boston Town were beaten 3-0 at Peterborough Northern Star last night.

Sam Wilson netted a brace and James Hill-Seekings was also on target for the hosts at the Branch Bros Stadium.

Wilson opened the scoring on the half-hour mark with a 25-yard effort which sneaked throught the legs of debutant Donatis Motuzis.

Wilson netted his second of the night a minute before the break to give Northern Star a comfortable cushion.

And it was 3-0 in the 72nd minute as Hill-Seekings completed the scoring, following Matthew Cox’s run and through ball which began deep in his own half.

As well as Motuzis, Danny Maddison and Steven Jucikas also made their debuts for Gary Frost’s Poachers, who currently sit 19th in the United Counties League Premier Division.

On Saturday they return to action as they host 11th-placed Northampton Sileby Rangers (KO 3pm).
