Boston Town are eager to keep Stewarts & LLoyds Corby at arm’s length.

The Poachers will return to match action today (KO 3pm), following almost three weeks without a contest.

Second-bottom Corby currently sit seven points behind 14th-placed Town in the UCL Premier standings.

But they have two games in hand and victory at Tattershall Road could give them some hope of clawing their way up the table and overtaking Boston.

Nathan Collins’ side have been without a match since their Knockout Cup success at league leaders Spalding United on January 21, winning 3-2 in extra time.

That is because their clash against Huntingdon Town was postponed and then it was their turn for a blank week in the 19-team league.

Ollier Pinner and Josh Ford will be suspended while defenders Michael Wood and Jack Smith are still battling to overcome injury.
