Boston Town will be looking for revenge against old foes Holbeach United tonight as they prepare for a cup double.

The Poachers will host the Tigers in the United Counties League Knockout Cup at the DWB Stadium this evening.

United have already left Tattershall Road with a victory this season, winning 3-1 in the UCL Premier.

The Tigers have ex-Boston players Nick Jackson, Aaron Eyett and Josh Ford amongst their squad, while Town’s Craig Parker had a spell at Carter’s Park.

Kick off will be at 7.45pm.

Town will host Walsham le Willows in the FA Vase on Saturday.

Lori Borbely’s side discovered their second qualifying round opponents after the Eastern Counties League side knocked out Deeping Rangers on penalties in their replay.

The two teams have met before - in the FA Cup two years ago. The 1-1 draw in Boston, with Borbely scoring the opener, led to a replay in Suffolk which the Poachers won 3-1, thanks to two goals from Matt Kennedy and one from Jordan Nuttell.

Kick off will be at 3pm.

Town suffered late heartbreak on Saturday, losing 2-1 at home to Desborough.

The away side took an early lead from the penalty spot, but in-form Jack Wightwick was on target again as he pulled the Poachers level.

However, Will Arnold stole the points in stoppage time.

The result leaves Town second-bottom of the standings with four points from nine contests.
