Ryley Thompson could make Boston Town debut as Poachers look for league points at Peterborough Northern Star

Ryley Thompson could be set to make his Boston Town debut tonight as the Poachers look for their first win of the UCL Premier campaign.

The 21-year-old left-back has joined the club from Harrowby United, having previously featured for Grantham Town and Lincoln City's youth team, and will travel with the side to Peterborough Northern Star this evening (KO 7.45pm).

"He'll come into the squad. He's very good and I'm pleased to get him on board," said Edgley, who will also have striker Tom Garrick available after missing Saturday's 4-3 defeat to Lutterworth.

"We missed him (Garrick) on Saturday. He's not fully match fit but we know we've got an awful lot to come from Tom.

"We missed him on Saturday as the ball didn't stick up top like we wanted it to."

Northern Star were beaten 6-0 by Loughborough University on Saturday.

"I don't expect it to be anywhere near a gimme, but we have to win these games if we are to get where we want to be," Edgley added.

"It'll be nice to get a result to take us into Saturday's (FA Cup) game, which is a huge game for us looking at where Coalville are.

"We are set up to be more pro-active than we were last season. We want to really have a go at teams this season."

Edgley will remain sidelined for tonight's game as he serves a four-match dug-out ban.

He watched Saturday's defeat to Lutterworth through the windows of the bar at the DWB Stadium.

"We definitely deserved something out of it. I was really disappointed," he reflected.

"I really struggled to find any positives apart from maybe Harry Grigas stepping up and scoring two goals on his home debut.

"I can't hold the blame at anybody apart from myself. I'm still banned and not there to influence things.

"We're now hoping for a response to put us back on track where we need to be."
