Three wins in eight days for Wyberton

Wyberton moved up to third in the table after making it three wins in eight days.

The Colts secured a 1-0 win on the road on Saturday as they beat Lincs League rivals Grimsby Borough Reserves 1-0.

Nicky Frost grabbed the only goal of the game to complete a good few days for Jon Macleod and Jamie Hanton’s side.

The victory came after Wednesday’s 9-0 demolition of Sleaford Town Rangers at The Causeway.

Fraser Bayliss pulled on the yellow and black shirt and netted four times, while Alex Beck grabbed a hat-trick.

Man of the match Scott Dawson and Chris Shipley added to the tally.

These victories followed on from last Saturday’s 3-2 success at Brigg Town CIC.
