Gary Edgley described Boston Town’s defeat to Harborough as ‘two steps forward and one back’ - but he is backing his new-look side to deliver the goods.
Saturday’s 3-0 home reverse saw the Poachers boss dish out debuts to Jordan Potts, Liam Quinn, James Waby and Antonio Jaquite.
But after the final whistle he conceded his youngsters will need more time to gel.
“So disappointed today, it’s like two steps forward and one back,” he told bostontownfc.co.uk, following the previous week’s point at Leicester Nirvana.
”Again new players making debuts, and you could tell as we looked like a team that hadn’t played together before.
"It was a tough result for the lads out there that gave me everything today and I feel for them. There were a lot of disappointed faces in the dressing room at full time, including mine.
"It’s now down to the boys to put the hard work in on the training ground and then come back next Saturday and go again.”
