Wyberton have ended their Lincolnshire League campaign in fifth spot.

Gary Frost’s side concluded their league fixtures with a 4-3 victory at Skegness United on Saturday.

Curtis Revell netted a brace while Ben Jaques and Lee Orrey also found the net.

Wyberton keeper Martin Louth also played his part in the victory, pulling off a late penalty save to deny Kurt Crossley.

Wyberton’s return to the Lincs League saw them finish level on 40 points with Sleaford Town Reserves.

However, their goal difference was one goal fewer, edging Wyberton into fifth.

Wyberton will now complete their campaign looking for silverware.

They face Ruston Sports in the Challenge Cup final at Lincoln United’s Ashby Avenue ground on May 6.
