Wyberton Reserves still head the Taylors Garages Premier Division table with a 100 per cent record still intact following a 4-2 win at Skegness Town Reserves.
That is now seven wins out of seven in the league for Wyberton.
Town produced a spirited display against the leaders and they were rewarded with two goals from striker Jordan Smith.
But the two goals weren’t enough as Wyberton netted four, with Liam Shinn grabbing two. Nicky Syndercombe and Adam Vinters helped secure an impressive away win with the other goals.
In Taylors Peugeot Division One, the big clash of the day took place at Friskney where Boston College snatched a valuable point following a 1-1 draw. Ryan Appleton was on target for Friskney.
Fosdyke suffered the agony of another narrow one-goal defeat and another late winner when Woodhall Spa United chalked up their first win of the season as Tim Williamson’s strike decided a thrilling game.
The match got off to a great start for Fosdyke when Ben Lawton, making his return to the side, scored a spectacular bicycle kick in the first minute.
Five minutes later Woodhall were level with a strike from Tom Richardson, but Fosdyke roared back in fine style through Leon Marsh.
Woodhall levelled in the second half, Tim Atkinson firing home to make it 2-2. Play continued to swing from end to end and Woodhall twice hit the woodwork before Fosdyke took the lead once again, this time from the penalty spot.
Andy Money drew Woodhall level at 3-3, then, in added time, a far post header hit the inside of the post and trickled over the line to give Woodhall a 4-3 win.
Freiston had a welcome victory with a 4-2 home win against Swineshead Reserves, with Perrie Dale grabbing two of the Freiston goals, while Peter Evinson and Troy Ayton made sure of victory. Swineshead replied through Tom Ebberley and Josh Smith.
Wrangle’s Dan Redford hit two goals for the second game running as his team ran out 4-1 winners against FC Magnet – this was Wrangle’s first league win of the season. Luke Chester and Daniel Turcu grabbed the other Wrangle goals, while James Munn replied for The Magnet.
Leverton thrashed Sutterton 10-0, with hat-tricks for both Dom Goddard and Nathan Rippin.
n In Taylors Ford Division Two, Swineshead Reserves and Billinghay Reserves shared the points following an exciting 4-4 draw. Dean Seiner bagged a brace for Swineshead, while Dan Thompson and Dominic Mason also got on the scoresheet.
Billinghay’s goals came from Tom Bullimore (2), Sam Knight and an own goal.
Park United got back to winning ways with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Coningsby Reserves at home.
nWyberton ‘A’ are clicking into gear nicely now in Taylors Vauxhall Division Three, and that was again evident with a 6-1 away win in a top-of-the-table clash at Old Doningtonians Reserves. The visitors struck three times in each half and Ollie Walker proved to be their main talisman with a hat-trick. McKenzie Smith grabbed two goals and Jason Allen the other for Wyberton, while Danny Goodacre replied for The Dons. Wyberton’s victory saw them swap places with their rivals at the top of the table.
Elsewhere in this division, Boston Titans fell to a 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Friskney Reserves, Benington Reserves and Pointon ‘A’ drew 1-1 and Spilsby Town Reserves netted 20 times against FC Boston without reply.
