Boston Town saw three poinst slip through their fingers last night - as Yaxley earned adraw with two stoppage-time goals.
The Poachers looked like they had won their first match of the UCL Premier season following Josh Ford’s brace.
As the striker netted his fourth and fifth goals of the season, Ian Dunn and Matt Hocking’s side looked comfoirtable with 90 minutes on the clock.
However, Scott Carter and Matt Cook both found the net in time added on to earn Brett Whaley’s Cuckoos a draw.
Town can take some pride from the fact that they were the first side Yaxley have failed to beat in league action this season.
But instead, they will be too busy wondering what might have been had they held on.
The result sees Yaxley in fifth spot in the table, with Town in 15th, having played four matches.
Boston now host Dereham Town in the FA Cup qualifying round on Saturday (KO 3pm).
