A four-wicket haul from Martin Hodgson helped Friskney CC to victory over Long Sutton in the South Lincs and Border League Division One.
Hodgson’s four victims, dismissed for the loss of 16 runs, aided the hosts as they ended their opponents’ innings on 67 in the 25th over.
Jack Ashton (two), Joe Gilbert (two) and Nick Snell also claimed victims, with Liam Maskell adding a run out.
Friskney won the match in the 18th over of their innings, posting 68-3 to claim a seven-wicket success.
Mitch Griffiths (29), Rob Grant (11), Ashton (13 not out) and Damien Lawson (nine) hit the important runs.
Friskney’s Sunday Firsts lost by 122 runs at Grimoldby in the East Lindsey League Division Two on Sunday.
The hosts posted 186-9, with eight-man Friskney all out for 64 runs in their 18th over.
