SIX new series best performances were achieved at the second match in the Schools Indoor track and field series at The B-Hive Athletics Training Centre.
In the Under 14 boys Jack Bean (Boston High) improved the shot series best performance to 9.43m and added the long jump record to his name with a leap of 4.37m.
And in the two lap race Jack reduced the best time by one tenth of a second recording 21.2 secs to achieve an impressive treble.
James Bushell (Boston High) also chalked up two best performances.
In the four lap race he recorded 46.4 secs, knocking almost two seconds off the previous best performance and added the six lap record to his tally clocking 77.1 secs in first place.
Boston Grammar’s Rares Demeter won the high jump with a leap of 1.20m.
There were two new series best performances in the girls competition. Isabel Swain (Boston High) added 80cms to the shot best winning with 7.53m and Lucy Fountain (Boston High) cleared 3.52m to erase the previous record in the long jump.
Isabel also won both the six lap race clocking 87.4secs and the high jump with a leap of 1.10m.
In the two lap event Emma Yallop (Boston High) won in a time of 23.6secs and Abbie Sands recorded 50.6secs in first position in the four lap race.
