Market Rasen Golf Club: Jack Frosts get better of Snow Queens
Market Rasen Golf Club ladies have been having some winter fun to start the year.
Last week’s seasonal match saw captain Helen Grinham’s team of Snow Queens defeated by Hefina Brumpton’s Jack Frosts by five matches to three.
At the beginning of the year a New Year March was played in teams of two which was won by Rosemary Lawton and Lynn Patrick with a very good score of 40 points.
They finished four points clear of runners-up Bridget Holmes and Lesley Brewis, while Sue Archer and Andrea Doyle grabbed the final top three spot with 35 points.
