Ben Wilson is desperate to get his British Supersport season back on track at Brands Hatch.
With four non finishes from the last two outings, the Kirton rider has dropped down the order to 10th in the overall rider standings.
He realises it is imperative for him to score well at Brands Hatch this weekend to enable him to move further up the points table.
Wilson has fully recovered from his second race crash at Knockhill, when his Kawasaki slammed into him - and he is now raring to go.
“Although my hopes of securing the title this year have all but gone there are still plenty of races left for me to have a crack at,” he said.
“This year has not been the best so far but I will never give up trying and hopefully this will be the turning point for me.”
Wilson will see track action from Friday when he has two free practice sessions at 9.35am and 2pm.
Qualifying takes place on Saturday at 11.15am, ahead of the 12-lap sprint race at 5.15pm.
Sunday is race day and Wilson will start with a 10-minute warm-up prior to the feature race that takes place at 3.40pm and is scheduled to run over 18 laps.
